About Us
From a Borrowed Mower to a Real Business
I started Bechtel's Lawn Care in 6th grade — borrowed my neighbor's mower and picked up a handful of houses in the neighborhood. During COVID I started taking on bigger jobs, mostly mulch, and that's when I realized this could be more than just a summer thing.
From there it was a lot of learning as I went: figuring out the industry, getting to know other companies around here, and putting money back into better equipment instead of pocketing it. I ran crews all through high school, mostly guys off the football team, while playing at a level that had me ranked among the top players in the state. Bechtel's Landscaping LLC became official in February 2025.
I'm still doing both. I'm playing football on an athletic and academic scholarship at one of the top Division II programs in the country, finishing my degree while my brother runs the day-to-day here. I stay involved on the growth side — new equipment, new relationships with customers and other companies in the trade. The goal's simple: keep building something that lasts.

Hardscaping
Stone retaining walls, paver walkways, and patios built to hold their shape through Lehigh Valley winters. We grade, base, and set every hardscape for long-term stability — not just a good first season.

Landscape Design & Planting
From full CAD-designed plant plans to mulched beds, trees, and shrubs, we design plantings suited to your property's light, soil, and style — then install them right the first time. Many projects also include low-voltage accent and path lighting.
